Halmarut specializes in plantlife, Mitron in marine life, and Loghrif in animal life; Fandaniel oversees the pursuit of unknown phenomena. Emet-Selch is the seat of the Architect, Keeper of the Underworld.

Frankly, it was unanticipated. They had to go to some lengths to do so-- first acquiring a concept for a fire spirit, which they shouldn't have had access to, and then using it to create that spirit out of the volcano's fire-aspected aether so they could defeat her.
The lengths I had to go to in order to keep them from censure were equally ridiculous.
