I remember feeling really weak and light-headed the moment I came back, but that might have just been the adrenaline wearing off. I felt better the next morning.

Good. 'Tis a relief to know you did not experience the same, although I still do not imagine it was an easy experience in the first place.

It was all really strange... We had these memories that weren't really ours, but we still remembered who we really were at the same time.

I remembered being the child of a temple monk, learning chants and prayers... and attending a school, where we learned how to perform exorcisms.

...how strange. I assume that you needed to put it into practice, then, if you were given such knowledge?

[mustbepurged]

Yes... We were tasked with solving mysteries around the school, exorcising the demons responsible for various phenomena.
