[Some time after the trial's over, and Estelle's had a chance to bathe and change her clothes, she's come to whatever the 7r holding cell is. She stands in the doorway -- she won't walk right in without permission.]

Sheila, are you there? ... May I come in?

[toesies]

I'm here. Come in.

[Sheila is just chilling in a jail cell in the middle of the station's simulations room.]

[mustbepurged]

[She comes in to where they can face each other. Estelle looks incredibly tired, but at least she's clean and somewhat composed at the moment.]

I... I'm just so sorry that this happened.

I was really sad about what happened to Rupert, but I hope you know I don't blame you. And I'm still really thankful that you were there for me... both yesterday and today.

[toesies]

... Oh, sweetie, you don't owe me any apologies. If anything, I should be the one to apologize for half the shit you saw and heard today.

[mustbepurged]

[She shakes her head.] It was a shadow's fault, wasn't it? You're not the one to blame.

[toesies]

... Well, yeah, but it was still me running around. So it's still kind of my fault that you had to go through all that?

[mustbepurged]

I don't really think so, but... i-in that case, I forgive you!

[toesies]

[Sweet Estelle... Sheila huffs out a laugh, despite herself.]

Okay...? You know, you're a really good person, Estelle.

[mustbepurged]

A small, self-conscious laugh.]

I, um, I try to be...

But I think you are, too. Everyone got a little crazy today, but... a lot of it was just because they really care about you. Because you've made such a positive impact on so many of them...

I think you're an incredible person, Sheila.

[toesies]

You don't try, you are. You are a good person, Estelle.

[She sees that self-consciousness. Cease.

But... Sheila sighs, a sad smile on her face.]

You know, things at home are pretty crazy right now? Like, crazy enough that I started searching for some greater purpose in life. And when I help people, or even make them happy for a while, it makes me feel like I'm fulfilling that purpose. [Is there a point to this? Well, she shrugs.] But right now... it just really sucks that I had to watch my friends cry and pick fights all because some shitty shadow with no boundaries decided it wouldn't take no for an answer.

[mustbepurged]

I'm sorry... It was hard for me to watch -- I know it must have been even harder for you.
