Yes! I've always liked reading about faraway lands, both real and fictional.

The latter, really. I read all kinds of stories, and plenty of nonfiction, too. Art, history, science... there are a lot of fascinating topics.

Oh, but... one I remember being very fond of is called "Tale of the Jade Planet." It's a story about a knight who embarks on a journey to save the world.

Well, yes... though it's not just about that, it's about the journey... The things they discover, the bonds they build, and the ways their beliefs are challenged along the way.

Things that challenge the reader as well and make you think of different perspectives? As well as having a fun little adventure as well.
