Not a literal one. But there was a pattern -- things usually happened on a Thursday night, we'd get locked into rooms after a certain time. We'd find a body on the Friday, and then figure out what happened at the weekend.
I have no idea why it fell into that pattern, but it doesn't sound like the station was the only place that had it.

Yes...? That was about as long as it took where I was from. A lot of people mentioned being wary of Thursday nights for that reason.
